December's First Friday

In Petersburg, the three weekends before Christmas are full of holly, jolly and ho, ho, ho.   The first weekend of  December, has two events that are filled with arts and crafts.  This month, four artists were featured in the town's First Friday event.

My evening started at the Fabric Basket.  Debbie Downs had lots and lots of baskets, filled with goodies for every taste.  She also had wonderful wool wall hangings.

Deb visited with people who came to look at her baskets and wool work,
and enjoy her yummy snacks,

Next door, at Wild Celery, Brenda Norheim took care of business at her shop while her guest artists,

Don and Karin Cornelius visited with all of the people who came to see their incredible paintings.

And Brenda also had a lovely table filled with yummy snacks.

Just down the street, at Beth Loesch's Miele Gallery, Joe Vichnickie visited with the people who came to look at his bold and beautiful paintings.

Of course Beth had yummy goodies too.  I wish I would have gotten a picture of them.

There are so many talented people in Petersburg.  Different artists are featured in these three shops at the First Friday events held from May through December each year.  We are so fortunate to have access to great art in our community!
