I LOVE raw edge quilt projects. The tracing and cutting are mindless activities I can pick up when I have a couple of spare minutes now and then. Raw edge projects come together quickly, satisfying that need for immediate gratification.
One of my very favorite raw edge pattern artists is Dana Verrengia. She specializes in Alaska designs. You can see here work HERE.
I used the berry patterns in this book to put together a 5 block wall hanging.

Just had to click on your link at the Sew Cute Tuesday party. Your berry blocks are just so pretty. I don't think I've ever heard of salmonberries or watermelon berries before.I love how the appliqué is framed by the blue segments. I'm very new to appliqué so I like to see examples of all sorts of designs.

DeleteVery beautifully stitched appliqués! The blue fabric you chose is quite different from the original pattern but the result is equally beautiful. The blue circles make yours a stunning quilt.
